Following Your Steps
It’s been a minute since I’ve blogged, but I haven’t forgotten to, I just didn’t have much to say. You know sometime you’ve got to sit back and listen to God and that’s what I’ve been trying to do. Have you found that sometimes it’s hard to follow the steps that are ordered for your life? You want to doubt them and question them; when all you need to do is follow them. That’s my problem, until I get that confirmation then I go “Yeah” that’s right. Life is already difficult, why make it more difficult by not following your deep intuitions. I know its easier said than done. I know! When in doubt, stop and seek the Father, instead of trying to figure it out yourself. Agree? God has a calling for each of us. You just have to ask Him what it is. You really know what it is; you just need our Father to confirm it for you. Let me give you a hint: its your DREAM.

Springing Forward This March!
Spring is almost here and that means to me that the beautiful winter God has blessed us to have is gone, the cold days are just a couple of days away and everything that I’ve experience in the year of 2009 is just a thought way. Some doors are closing or closed and spring doors are being open. Favor is so close, but I have to follow my Father's will. To me spring means new & fresh; seeing the green in the grass come through and flowers bloom & to me my life is starting a new season. Do you understand what I’m saying? It’s seeing God work on earth flourish. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1) and spring shows the breakthroughs of faith coming through. Watch and see. Things that you've dreamed of will come to pass. I feel it. My Father is holy and faithful and I know that He will place favor other yours & my life. He already has every morning we wake up, but special favor. So, this is what I declare this spring. Bishop TD Jakes spoke these words to me from my Father on New Year's Eve. He said "in order for me to move forward I HAVE to let go of the past. Are you having this problem? Let’s work together! Keep me posted and tell me about your new spring season @ sweet90sinternetradio@hotmail.com. Here’s my thought for the month! “Letting It Go” If you are holding on to the past then it's time to let it go! If you are still in pain from someone hurting you some years ago, then give it to God. If you are struggling with thoughts of revenge then let God handle it. Revenge is not yours; it's the Lord. If that job you are working on no longer meets your needs, take it to God. Perhaps there's a purpose for your life that He wants to fill. If you are struggling with knowing who you are and why you are here, Stop right now and ask God to show you the way and then follow His steps that He's ordered for your Life. You are not here for you; you are here for God. Let Go and Let GOD.

Black History Month
How do you feel about this month Black History & Valentine's Day? I really do not know what to say. I look at this month and it’s the month of LOVE combined with Black History. I asked myself; its got to be a reason for the whole month to be Black History and the month of LOVE. Well, if you are struggling with this question why does Black History have to be in the shortest month; then you have to ask why Valentine Day is in the shortest month too. I do not know why, but I do know that it has to do with the love of us as mankind. You think!!! I feel in my perspective God has two important commandments: First: You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." A second is equally important. "Love your neighbor as yourself.” I feel we as African American (not all) struggle with this verse. I am not speaking for other races, because I cannot put myself in their shoes no more then they can put themselves in mines. ( I'm speaking from my perspective) Loving your neighbor as yourself, (and not just the person next door) but with everyone you meet and anyone who has hurt you. It’s hard, I know! I still struggle with it still, but I know a God that I serve who blesses me each morning to wake up and get it right. So, all I can said is I'm going to not only make February the month of Black History & Love but also each day I wake up a day of forgiving & loving others. That’s the problems I have when it comes to “loving thy neighbor as yourself” Have you heard the song by Kevin Levar “ A Heart That Forgives” it's what life boils down too…..Forgiving! What happen to our ancestors is done and its purpose is served thank God for the Grace he placed over them to endure those struggles. We have to move on & let go of the past. I know, I've mentioned this song before “A Heart That Forgives” but it’s a powerful, powerful song. I forgive everyone who has hurt me, I'm letting go of the past; that’s what Pastor TD Jakes spoke on New Years Night for major breakthroughs this year for 2010. I working towards this for this year; how about you? Please listen to this song with an open heart and soul & ENJOY!

I Can Only Imagine
Today, I was speaking with my new co-host for BTR/Feel-this (and by the way I would like for you all to welcome her Mrs. Cynthia Randolph better known as “CJ”; & she will also “Take 10” with you by giving you a daily message every Friday between the hours of 10am – 2pm right here on Sweet 90’s.) While she was doing her daily message for this Friday, I asked her what song would she like to play after or during her message and she said “I Can Only Imagine” now I’ve heard this song over and over, but it was something about it today that touched my soul. I got to thinking about that special day when I must meet my Father. Just this morning I was asking my Father to help me find anything that was not right within me and my soul and show me, because I do not want anything to hinder me from that day when it’s time to meet Him. Can you imagine being in the presence of your Heavenly Father, walking with your Father, dancing before your Father, or just breaking down to your knees and crying for joy saying “I am finally here with you Father,” thank you so much for choosing me. And looking at his son Jesus and saying “Thank you” for all you’ve done & for being so strong and not falling for this world, (because I know it was hard) and living only for your Father & most of all, for dying for my sins and there were plenty; “Thank You.” Well, check out the video this week and “ only imagine” Only a few are chosen please let it be YOU!

Lord! Please take my Hand.

How many times have you felt that life was so unfair? You've lost a loved one, a job, your house, a relationship or your spouse cheated, you think people just don't understand you, and you just cannot figure life out. Everything you've done is not enough and you're just tired of fighting the fight against you and others. I can feel your pain! Now its time to ask God to take your hand and lead the way. He already knows your purpose and destiny for your life, so let him take your hand and show you the way. Check out Fred Hammond song "Take My Hand" video. That is my song for today. My husband and I just love this song and I hope this song is healing, empowering and inspiring for your soul today as it has been for my husband and I. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Dr. Martin Luther King Jr!
Today is MLK day. I am so thankful to God for blessing Dr. King to have a vision to dream. I truly believe that we all have a purpose and a destiny in life. When I think about the word dream I think about when I first arrived in Texas 4yrs ago and God asked me what does the word DREAM means to you. You see, I was also a big dreamer and when I went into a QT gas station the 1st Sunday after my husband and I arrived in Texas I saw this bracelet that said DREAM and God asked me what did this word mean to me and I looked at the letters deeply and my soul spoke this. Do you Realize Every Anointing Miracle (come from GOD) and it is true. Dr King was anointed by God and God instilled in him a seed that he planted in each one of us to see his Dream lived out today. You asked for this change and now we have the change. Let's be KING like today and change ourselves starting today. Learn how to Forgive others and love with all your heart. Help someone instead of yourself today. My song today is "A Heart That Forgives" by Kevin Levar. Check out the videos today on the front page of my site. God bless you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dr. Martin Luther King JR.

Simple Days
I've been thinking about the past this morning and I’ve been thinking about my childhood. I remember when things were so simple. We could go outside and play and be home by the time the street lights came on, we talked on the phone, went to the movies and friendships were real. We could walk to the store with $1.00 and buy up some things. Now life is so modern technology. Kids are glue to the TV and video games. What happen to riding bikes & playing kick-ball? I sure wish those days were here if only for one moment. Don't you? My song for today is "Simply Days" by Babyface. You will hear this song every hour within that hour. So sit back and reminisce about those “Simple Days.”
Ecclesiastes 11:9-10
Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give account to God for everything you do. (10) So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless.

I am so blessed to wake up this morning and see another day to do God's will. Aren't you? The song for me today is ""Your Mercy by Blessed". You know, its days that I don't do right and my attitude can be kind of jacked up. I'm not perfect, only God is. But I am so glad that I serve a God that understands my needs and forgives me when I am not doing right, because at the end of the day, I serve God and not this world. Thank you Father for all you do for me! I am BLESSED...Feel-this
